THEME:MY SEASON OF GOOD NEWS

The Healing and Faith Christian Global Ministries recently marked her second anniversary with a five-day convention filled with worship, outreach, prayers, and fellowship. The event, which took place from January 29th to February 2nd, 2025, was a time of reflection, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to faith. The anniversary was tagged “Good News”.
The convention commenced on Wednesday, January 29, with an evening of praise and thanksgiving where notable music ministers such as Bola Discovery and YemiDrey led the congregation to give thanks to God for His faithfulness over the past two years, lifting their voices in joyful worship. Pastor Dan-Arry, the resident pastor of Living faith Church AKA Winners chapel, Gaa-Imam, Ilorin, Kwara State also came in with a wonderful session of God’s word. .

On the second day, there was a widow’s outreach in the church premises where The Church Pastor, Pastor Joseph Oyelami encouraged the widows in the LORD. After the session, the widows were given some foodstuffs to take home. In the evening also, at Aleara community, there was an evangelism that took place, free medical outreach and counseling, spreading the message of salvation and hope to the community and also gave out free clothing. This initiative aimed to extend the church's impact beyond its walls and reach those in need of spiritual upliftment there were some nurses that came to join us from amilegbe teaching hospital.

Friday, the third day, was dedicated to intercessory prayer. The congregation fervently prayed for the church, individuals, and our nation (NIGERIA), seeking divine intervention in various areas of life which was anchored by our resident pastor.
The fourth day, Saturday, was a spiritually enriching experience. In the morning, the church held a monthly prayer program titled The Healing Balm of Gilead, where attendees sought divine healing and restoration. Prophet M.O. Adio brought the word powerfully and released fatherly blessings over the church. Later in the evening, the congregation gathered for a Love Feast and dinner where food were giving to people freely and Evangelist Mike Agboola of The Evom Ministries brought us The undiluted Word of God. It was a moment of bonding, sharing, and celebrating the love of Christ within the church family.

The grand finale took place on Sunday, February 2nd, with a powerful Thanksgiving and Holy Communion service. The atmosphere was filled with gratitude as members reflected on God’s faithfulness and looked forward to greater things ahead. REV.DR EBENEZER KAYODE, The provost of United Missionary Church for Africa Theological College (UMCATC) was the guest speaker who represented the national president of UMCA REV DR.GBENGA ODEBIRI .

The anniversary convention was a testament to the church’s growth and its commitment to fulfilling its mission. As the Healing and Faith Christian Global Ministries continues her journey, it remains dedicated to spreading the gospel, fostering unity, empowering believers and reaching out to humanity through charity.
CHALLENGES
We had challenges over mobility, chairs were not enough, there are so many things that were needed but we went ahead to rent some of them because they were necessary e.g speakers microphones. We were short of volunteers which made the work load not too easy but God strengthened the work force available.. Due to high cost of food in our nation we could not provide enough food for the widow and the children in the outreach. and also we ran into some debt due to high cost of things and insufficient income of assistance.

PRAYER POINTS

  • God should send more partners so we can be able to acquire a land and build a better Auditorium for worship
  • We need trusted and Godly people to be able to handle some areas of responsibilities for the ministry.
