Darling Mattey Biography
My name is Darling Mattey, I was born in Nueva Esparta Venezuela where I was raised by my parents and grandmother. At the age of 19 applied to study in College, but after a short period I had to stop my studies because the economic situation in Venezuela affected my family financially and I was forced to work in order to help out the family financially.
At the age of 20, while I was working in a Hotel as part of the entertainment staff a close friend spoke to me about Jesus Christ and my life took a 180-degree turn. Soon after I met my best friend and future husband, Carlos Mattey and we got married on November 17, 2017. Together we have experience many miraculous signs and wonders and have seen many people healed from their sickness and decease. Nowadays we both dedicate our entire lives on this amazing project called I Will Impact.
Role
My role with I Will Impact is to assist and coordinate the preparation of the food that we distribute the poor and homeless. I am also actively involved in the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Jesus. As an Administrator, I am in charge of the buying and preparation of the food plates we give to we provide to the needy. I am extremely thankful to have this wonderful privilege to be the Lead Chief for I Will Impact.
Experience
It is amazing to see how this project has reached many lives and especially little children. Seeing the joy in their faces gives me the sense of fulfillment that I am making a difference in the world. I have the opportunity to see how many young children are been impacted by the Gospel of Jesus as part of the sports program and events.
Why I Choose to Volunteer and Help
I choose to become a volunteer because I believe in every goal that I Will Impact is pursuing and because I get the chance to make a real impact in people’s lives.
